PrairieCare opened their Brooklyn Park psychiatric inpatient hospital in 2015, and expanded in 2017.
Following new legislation allowing additional bed licenses PrairieCare is expanding its hospital to meet the growing demand for mental health resources. The 30,000 sq. ft. expansion adds 30 hospital beds, allow for PrairieCare to care for 3,500 youth annually.
The design creates a calming environment with security and safety features that support the wellbeing of patients, staff and visitors.
