Memorial Blood Centers (MBC) has been saving lives since 1948 as an independent nonprofit blood center.
The new Richfield Donor Center replaces MBC’s former Bloomington location, providing donors with a modern facility with many amenities. The donor center is located on the 3rd floor of the Woodlake Centre with ample daylight from the building’s atrium and large windows to the exterior.
The space features an expansive welcoming lounge and café/canteen for donors with a variety of seating options, four interview rooms and spacious donor bays with state-of-the-art equipment. Back-of-house spaces include a staff breakroom and offices.
The new location increased square footage allows MBC to offer additional donor beds to help meet the ongoing need for blood in local hospitals.
